51502 spectators had come to www.ersano.com this cloudy day. Ersan decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. Lineup: Lago - Elliott, Herbaut, Lovrak - Gardiner, Radinović, Galaridis, Šerifović - Borgobello, Jauković, Bilić. Kroneri tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Dincã - Marcos, Katzenelson, Frankenberger - Carvalho, Salamucha, Fuente, Rolfsson, Bergell - Mazzarelli, Hazes.
Ersan were relying on their ability to counter-attack. In the game's 2:th minute, Kroneri's Per Rolfsson missed an opportunity to put his team one up from the penalty spot, later claiming that ”the floodlights blinded him”. After 27 minutes, Kroneri sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached Pedro Marcos, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot and score the 0 - 1 goal. Kroneri's Snir Katzenelson got himself booked for a foul. Balthasar Hazes seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in the 0-2 goal for Kroneri after a corner kick that was nicely executed by Per Rolfsson. In the 38:th minute, a phenomenal play on the left side freed Per Rolfsson, of Kroneri, to dash through and score another goal for the visitors. The score was then 0 - 3. The home keeper was stunned in the 42:th minute when he misjudged the free kick by Per Rolfsson and dove in the wrong direction. The visitors took the lead at 0 - 4. After this, Kroneri lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Kroneri goal in the 44:th minute, making it 0 - 5. Loris Mazzarelli was noted down as the scorer. 0 - 5 was the score after the first half. Kroneri held the ball, with a clear 62 percent of possession.

The away team's Mauro Fuente took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right in the 54:th minute increasing Kroneri's lead to 0 - 6. The referee showed Ersan's Sam Gardiner the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Kroneri's Gustavo Carvalho knew what he was doing as he waited patiently for the right opportunity. He would get no better chance than the one he took, but his shot was deftly blocked by the keeper. Kroneri's Sylvio Frankenberger made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side in the 63:th minute. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender sprang up, clearing the ball on the line. After 76 minutes, Kroneri's Loris Mazzarelli surprised everyone as he managed to intercept a pass intended for the opposing keeper and flip it in, making the score 0 - 7. Ersan's Giulio Borgobello left the field after 81 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Ramo Vodić. The game had been on for 83 minutes when Mauro Fuente broke through on the right, upping the score for Kroneri to 0 - 8, much to the home crowd's dismay. The away team's Pedro Marcos took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right in the 88:th minute increasing Kroneri's lead to 0 - 9. Kroneri enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.
Ersan's best player was Panayiotakis Galaridis. However, Rui Manuel Lago made a disastrous appearance. Mauro Fuente performed admirably for Kroneri. Pedro Marcos on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 9.
