svrakino started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Ioan - Fishman, Landrø, Caballero - Bittner, Carriço, Checa Rubio, Thomasberg, Menşur - Campert, Stentoft.
Slack defending gave Ersan a chance to take the lead in the 14:th minute, but Alfred Doberstein's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. svrakino's Peter Landrø got himself booked for a foul. svrakino took the lead after 26 minutes with 0 - 1. Danny Stentoft placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. The referee showed Ersan's Ramón Quesada the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. An uncontested handball in the penalty area gave the home team a penalty in the 35:th minute, and Ben Dawkins was able to score to take the scoreline to 1 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. This half belonged to Ersan, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.
A wonderful trick by Ramón Quesada that left Peter Landrø bewildered really deserved to end in a goal but the keeper made a fine save. Ersan fans held their breath as Panayiotakis Galaridis scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the go-ahead goal for 2-1! svrakino's Kenny Thomasberg got himself booked for a foul. Leonel Vargas should probably have put his team up another goal in the 68:th minute, but some great goalkeeping by Silviu Ioan kept the visitors in the game. svrakino almost scored after a counterattack in the 69:th minute, but Danny Stentoft took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. svrakino's Çağlar Menşur set up a perfect opportunity for Marek Bittner, but the latter failed to score. Peter Landrø sprang high, as always, and was very close to scoring with a header after a corner, but just barely missed. This half belonged to Ersan, who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.
Most important Ersan player was Mikey Shepherd. Rui Manuel Lago on the other hand, had a terrible day. svrakino's top performer was clearly Danny Stentoft. Marek Bittner turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
